Coronavirus (COVID-19) has originated in China (Wuhan). The China officially report the World Health Organisation(WHO) on 31ST December,2019 about this virus. Since then it is spreading almost every country on the Earth. Due to this pandemic situation, it leads to shutdown of the economies and created the worldwide havoc and panic situation.

Government imposed lockdown in the whole country due to the speed spread of the coronavirus and it leads to staying at home which had affected the jobs of many people around the world. All of the countries are facing a lot of economy loss and other issues.

Coronavirus causing illness ranging from common cold to severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). And the worst thing about this is that it has no conspicuous symptoms.

Symptoms:

 Mild Health Problems – Mild Fever, Difficulty in breathing, Loss of smell, Cough, Sneezing are some of the symptoms of this virus.

In some of the people there are no symptoms; still they are affected with this virus. Alternatively the infected person may develop some serious cases like pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure, even leading to death.

So if you are dealing with these symptoms, the only way to know  whether you are infected or not, is to consult with healthcare professional and have a test for COVID.

How this virus is transmitted?

The researchers are yet to discover the exact mediums through which this virus transmit but there are some mediums which are discovered till now :

1.     Through droplets created after sneezing and coughing of an infected person.

2.     Consumption of virus containing animal products.

3.     Direct contact with an infected person.

4.     Through public places, massive gathering areas.

5.     Touching the surface which was infected by the person who is positive.

The first thing you got to keep in mind is a precaution. Here is what you need to do to protect yourself from the outbreak.

Regular hand wash for 20 seconds will help you avoid germs or any kind of infection. Use soap or hand sanitizer for better results and do this every time you travel or touch anything. 

·        Cover Your Mouth & Nose

             Cover Your Mouth & Nose

Covering your mouth and nose while sneezing or when anyone next to coughs or sneezes can do you a lot better. Coronavirus usually spreads through cough and covering your nose and mouth will save you from this epidemic. 

·        Consult A Doctor If Sick

         Consult a Doctor

If you are suffering from a common cold, cough, nausea, vomiting, shortness of breath and fatigue make it a point to consult a doctor at the earliest. Any of these symptoms could be a sign that you are suffering from the virus.

Avoid being in crowded places. An infected person can spread the virus instantly and crowded places is a good way to accomplish this. Make sure you wear full sleeves shirts with anti-pollution masks when you travel. Staying indoors is a rather safe option.

Spitting can increase the spread of the virus. Avoid spiting at in public and home. Also, avoid getting close to a sick person suffering from cold and cough.

Travelling by cab, flight, bus, train and tramp can get you infected. Use anti-pollution masks and carry a hand sanitizer with you everywhere. Consider travelling by your own vehicle and avoid public transport. In case you are feeling sick, it is advised that you avoid travelling and consult a doctor at the earliest.

If you are suffering from dry cough, back pain, nausea and shortness of breath it is recommended that you consult a doctor rather than opt for self-medication that can leave you battling with a deadly illness. Say no to antibiotics as it would later lead to antibiotic resistance.
